SRI SATHYA SAI MATRIC HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL
Owned by the Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Tamil Nadu, this school was inspired by the educational philosophy of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. It began its journey in 1991 on Vijaya Dasami Day under the name Sri Sathya Sai Balagurukulam at Erode. Starting with just three students and two teachers, the school aimed to integrate educare with the curriculum and nurture students with good character and academic proficiency.
The school initially developed gradually, reaching up to VII Standard with a student strength of 110. In 1998, it was relocated to its present location and renamed Sri Sathya Sai Matriculation School. The inauguration plaque was blessed by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on May 3, 1998, during his journey to Kodaikanal.
