Energy Conservation Day

Date of the Event: 14th December - 20th December 2025

Purpose of activity :Creating awareness on Energy Conservation
To educate Students about the importance of saving energy and using electricity wisely.

Brief description: As a part of Energy Conservation week (14 th December 20th December 2025) Celebration ,Tamilnadu Electricity Board celebrated energy conservation day in our school on 17.12.2025 . A Twelve members team headed by Chief Engineer Mr. Shanmga Sundaram visited our school. Mrs. Nivetha (JE) Erode presented a slideshow for the Students on the topic ‘’ Types of Energy ‘’followed by a PowerPoint presentation by Mr. Raguram (JE) Erode. On the Topic “ Ways to reduce energy consumption ‘’ . He explained various steps to save energy .Posters related to energy conservation were displayed .He asked the Students to repeat the “Slogans for energy Conservation’’.
Finally he conducted ‘’Quiz’’ on energy Conservation. Many Students .participated with great enthusiasm and won the Prizes .The Programme helped them to understand their responsibility in energy Conservation.
